What is eDiag?

Among the range of eSrijan automation products, eDiag is medical automation. It is based on the science of symptomatology - the essence of Hahnemann's Homeopathy. This fundamental science decodes or what we call diagnoses the problem in a human body on the basis of a set of symptoms or characteristics, typically observable by naked eyes or by feelings. Then, based on the diagnosis, one or more medicines may be prescribed and administered to cure the person.

Once diagnosed, the medicine could be chosen from any pathy. However, as homeopathy provides huge tested no-side effect repertories, it is a preferred one. Repertories are the databases of symptom versus homeopathy remedies. eDiag basically automates this process of diagnosis and prescription by natural language processing, and artificial intelligence based on the huge wealth of homeopathy repertories. eDiag mainly utilizes the open source Repertorium Publicum v0.9 by Vladimir Polony and Boenninghausen's Repertory, as its backend.

Who needs eDiag?

Bottom line is - anyone who wants to diagnose a patient; it could be a doctor, or the patient himself. Is it only for homeopathy doctors? Not only. As already mentioned any doctor, allopathy or homeopathy can take advantage of this for diagnosis purposes. However if homeopathy, this can be used for even prescribing and home-delivery of the medicines.

Why to use eDiag?

Let's take this scenario. A patient goes to a doctor, describes his problems. The doctor analyses in his head, and prescribes a set of medicines. Patient goes back, takes medicines. If he gets well, well & good; else comes back to the doctor, and a new set of medicines are prescribed, possibly a few medical tests suggested.
